Mallets

General mallet, stacato mallet, legato mallet, hard bell mallet - what more could you need to choose from!

Mallets sold in single pairs.

The bell mallets feature a 16 inch handle with a 1 inch Phenolic (hard plastic/resin) ball to bring out the bright tones.

The general Timpani mallet is a medium mallet, made with German felt over a wood core. This is a general purpose mallet with a full, round tone, great for longer articulations and rolls.

The Staccato is medium hard, crafted with German felt over a wood core. It allows for rhythmic clarity and has the ability to go back and forth between rolls and rhythm.

The Legato is a soft mallet. This mallet has a wood core with a German felt covering. It has a rich sound for those plush passages and for rolls with a smooth, even sound.
