New Hofner Electric Models - now in the UK (Hofner Guitars)

The first of Hofner’s new models is the HVSC Verythin SingleCut. Available in either Black or Light Blue, this beautiful new single cutaway model features a genuine Bigsby trem system, a spruce top, maple back and sides, ebony fingerboard, German mini humbucker pickups  and a Hofner deluxe hardcase.
With a number of component parts manufactured in Hofner’s Asian workshops, the guitars are then assembled, finished and setup in Hofner’s German workshops. This ingenious way of working means that an instrument made in Germany can still remain affordable. The UK Retail price is £1175.

A similar method of production is employed in the creation of the HVSP Verythin Special model. Again recently released in the UK, the Verythin Special is available in classic Hofner sunburst and features a trapeze tailpiece, a spruce top with maple back and sides, an ebony fingerboard, German mini humbuckers and a Hofner deluxe hardcase. The UK Retail price is £1125 – also superb value for a German instrument.

Long famous for the legend that is the Violin ‘Beatle’ bass, Hofner has turned its hand to creating a Contemporary Series Verythin Bass, the HCT5007SB. This short scale instrument uses the same basic body shape as its 6-string sibling, but with a 30” / 76cm neck.
Featuring the standard Spruce/Maple combination, the Verythin bass also has a  solid centre block – like the HCT Violin and Club basses – which ensures a more reliable on-stage tone with greatly reduced feedback. The UK Retail Price is £665.
